My loyal and dependable acer had just recently started to have some issues that I cannot fix with my basic knowledge. The computer was having issues accessing Google Chrome the other day, and after attempting to restart the laptop I am only able to enter startup repair. After only a couple of seconds the startup repair says it cannot fox the problem automatically and recommends submitting information about the problem. After viewing the problem details the problem event name is listed as "StartupRepairOffline". Has anyone else been able to fix this problem (how?)? Does anyone have information that I can access on the problem?

If you are unable to enter Windows, then it could be a problem with the operating system or HDD. I would recommend retrieving your data from the computer, then perform a factory restore to see if it was just a corrupt operating system. If the problem persists or unable to load windows, this would indicate a bigger problem and possible require repair.
