ACER put wild tangent games bloatware on my A3-A20 tablet, and it cannot be removed. That sucks all by itself. But what is really unconscionable is that wild tangent pops up a notification that it needs your attention. And in order to make that notification go away you need to authorize installation from unknown sources so that it can update itself. ACER, I don't want this stuff on my tablet to begin with. Don't make it worse by requiring that I reduce security on my tablet in order to make the notification go away. Really shabby.
Eventually I figured out what it was trying to do, and that wild tangent has been around for a long time. So I allowed unknown sources, allowed wild tangent to update, and then I deactivated unknown sources again.
But understand that I'm not happy with what ACER has done here.
