Aspire 5943g unable to start up due to interactive logon process failure

When starting my Aspire lap top the message " interactive logon process initialisation has failed. Please consult the event log for more details" however when "OK" this message it just returns after 15 seconds so am in a failure loop. When try to restart the machine in " safe mode" it shows same message. I have tried pressing Alt and F10 keys together when first switched on but nothing happens before message appears. Is there a solution to this failure?

    at boot press DEL to enter BIOS, check if HDD is listed on SATA devices, then check if D2D option is enabled, then press F10, save and exit.

     

    on next boot, press ALT+F10 and check if Acer erecovery starts.
