Aspire T3-600 is sometimes slow to connect to websites when first turning on the PC.

The PC boots up quickly and I can open Thunderbird for email and IE v.11 and Google Chrome v.39 browsers. Sometimes email and browser connect quickly with websites and other times it can take up to 5 mins for a website to appear. But once it does start connecting the connection speed is fast. I have tried resetting my Comcast wifi router and that does not seem to help

What could be causing this occasional issue?

How can I fix it?

Thank you for any help you can offer

  • Hi, 2 things that you could check. Uninstall device driver & check if that helps & also you could check for any firmware update for your Router if available,. I can assure you that there is nothing wrong with hardware components,. cheers

    Thank you for responding.

I can check with Comcast about udating the router firmware.

I don't know which device driver may be slowing things down. Should I check with Windows and/or Internet Explorer support for detais?
