Hello all Smiley Happy

I upgraded to a 1TB HDD but had no success keeping windows 7. I had to upgrade to windows 8.1 because windows kept coming up as "Not Genuine" all 15 times i tried to clone my original HDD. I tried 2 different softwares then just gave up. 8.1 doesn't bother me tho since this is a touch screen. My question that i need help is how/where do i get my acer programs back from tho? On acer's support they only have a few drivers and the only program avalible is updater which never works anyways. I have no way to access my webcam now or any of the other acer suite stuff that came with this pc. My pc didn't come with any added software disks so i've been floating around their site and found this forum. My warrenty expired in 2011 so i can't call anyone about this issue either!? HELP!! Acer guru's!!!!

Thanks,

Jer

Wow not 1 person can help me? This sucks. I saw online that some of the Z5600's came with a 1TB HDD so I know it's possible. I bought the esupport restore disks from Acer as a last resort. STILL won't work. At the very end on final reboot of a fresh install it says it's starting services. Then an error screen pops up saying it couldn't do it and try again at the next reboot. Reboot again and it says it couldn't be completed. The OEM drive is a Sata drive. The replacement is a sata drive. I found an online manual and in the last few pages it lists some hdd's in it, weird thing is that they're sata II. Why would I need sata II if my original is sata I? Could that be my issue? Also the Western Digital 1TB drives listed are all 5400rpm instead of 7200 like I have and want. SO am I stuck getting a so called compatible 750GB 7200rpm instead?
