G3605/win 8.1 oem/Norton

I want to supress NORTON but I receive invariably the message "you need an authorization from administrator" to do it. I'm the ONE. Could it be that this software that comes with the OEM is necessary to the system and that's the reason of the message? Or something else is the reason?

    Are you getting any dialog box that is requesting you to enter your administrator password? If yes, then enter the password appropriately and see if that works.

     

    In case you have not logged on through an Administrator account, you will have to switch from your current account to your Administrator account. You can do this by following the instructions mentioned in the section "How can I switch to a different user account?" on the following link:
