Iconia W4 - weak wifi signal strength

Just purchased a W4 and I have done all the windows update and installed the 1.16 update. My only problem with the device is that when I get more than 10 feet or so away from my router the health bar begins to jump around and I lost most or all connectivity. None of my other wireless devices have this isssue.

 

Any idea what the problem is?

There have been a few devices where the antenna cables aren't attached as tightly as they should be. If you have already done the software update and are still getting poor reception then it's time to contact Acer and get it repaired.

Thank you, but I think I've decided to just return the device since I just got it. It's a pity, because otherwise I think it is a very nice little device.
