Hi,

Thinking about buying a 4k monitor, just wondering my Ultrabook's HDMI version, is it HDMI 1.4?

Thanks for the reply. However, I am confused. I thought HDMI 1.4 already suppots

    3840x2160 at 24/30 Hz (4k) resolution. Why a version1.4a (adds 3D format) only supports

    full HD?

The maximum resolution supported by the HDMI port of this computer is 1920x1080: 60Hz

The HDMI 1.4 specification adds support for extremely high video resolutions :

3840 pixels wide by 2160 pixels high
4096 pixels wide by 2160 pixels high
