Got a message at boot up that said system had some corrupt files and to run check/scan disk and repair.
Ran check disk at boot, then auto repair. Computer did a bunch of things, couldn't read fast enough. Computer would not boot at all. Ran recover/repair disk and had to reinstall to original system. It would not let me run the option to save my data. Reinstalled all software and carbonite recover of data (hours of time).
All good for a couple of weeks - now same message. To date, I skip disk scan at boot and have been able to continue to use. I do not want to have to spend the time to recover the system again. I have read in some other blogs that this is a problem with WIN 7 after some update, but have not seen a fix.
Has anyone dealt with this issue?
Thanks!
Mark
