Just got an Acer Iconia 7 One B1-730HD and can't connect to internet. Comes up with "Authentication Problem" though the password has been double and treble checke. Restored factory settings, rebooted route, checked password. Show "No IP Address" in advanced settings. Any suggestions?

What type of authentication is the network using? WEP, WPA, WPA2? I assume you've already tried the 'show password' option to make sure what you think you are typing is actually what's getting typed? Smiley Happy

Thanks for the reply. Making progress. Got it to connect by pressing the WPS button on the router however disconnects after every sleep. Ther is an option in advanced on the WiFi screen that says "WPS PIN Entry" advising to enter the pin on the router but my BT-Home Hub has no option for PIN Entry in the portal. How risky is disabling WPS? (Sorry not very technically savy).

The WPS PiN is typically either on a sticker on the bottom of the router or a portion of the MAC address (also displayed on the router body). You may have to look up the location in a user manual for your device. WPS gives adequate security to your WiFi connection, as long as the PIN is hidden from the casual observer... So don't put your router upside down. Smiley Happy
