HOW TO CHANGE NETWORKS ON CHROME BOOK

Hi new here!  I have been unable to use Chromebook anywhere but home.  I go to coffee shop to work and change to their network and all looks fine, but I can't download anything!  In other words, I can't plug into their network and work.  

 

I would love to know how to do this.  Can anyone help?

Hi,
When you say that all is fine, is that you are able to connect but not able to download,. What happens could you explain a bit more?

When I do to a coffee shop and log into their network, it looks like I'm connected in my settings, but I am unable to do anything online.  I cannot retrieve emails, send or receive, or surf and download.

Head over to the Chrome app store and get the Chrome Connectivity Diagnostics app and run that. It can be really helpful.

It sounds like you may be running into an issue with a captive portal network that some public hotspot places use and this tool will help you diagnosis that as well.
