Acer Aspire V3-772G 17" FAN PROBLEM?

Hi!

So, I purchased this PC awhile ago, and since day one, I've had problems with fan noises.

From boot up to shut down, the fan noise won't stop. I don't have to run big and heavy programs, it will happen even if I open a new folder or change a tab in the browser. First, the fans are silent as nothing, then, every tenth second, they start making long lasting noises for about ten seconds before they go silent again.

Does anyone have the same problem? Is this normal?

I will be glad if someone could help me out.

-Daniel

I grabbed our V3-772G and this seems to be the norm for this unit. The reason this units fan is going to run more or constantly is because its thermal profile is different from a lower end unit. This is a higher end gaming unit with an i7 processor, dedicated graphics card, and two hard drives (SSD+HDD) so it will require more power, therefore requiring more heat to be displaced.

So by design what you are describing is normal for this model.

Great to know there is nothing wrong then.
