.I have an ACER Desktop, and a acer Iconia Tablet.

I have no sound on my desktop, there's a static, or crackoing sound, and I can't get any UPDATES for my systems,  boths desktop and tablet, and I have other ACER Devices... I've been downloading all these programs that ACER has included in their products for months now, it's been about a year now, I thought ACER was good... I keeep getting a "404 error page, when i finaaly have a lead on solving my problems,  and my speakers are pluggde and working so *** good, IT'S NOT THE SPEAKERS... it keeps saying the perphiral doesn't appear to be plugged. Arghhhhhh... False hope to be with ACER, nothing but a dissappointment.

I am sorry to hear that you are unable to resolve the issue with Acer devices.

It would be helpful if you help me wiht the model number of your computer, operatingf system shipped wiht your computer.

Also, please check if the audio device is listed in device managwer under "Sound, video and game controllers".
