New AKBR-131 Bluetooth keyboard not located by my Acer Iconia/W3 tablet What to try?

Problem as stated.  Put fresh batteries in keyboard.  Activated Bluetooth receiver (blinking blue light) and followed instructions to chage PC settings>devices>Add a device. Tablet says "no new devices found." Do I need to disable some security on the tablet?  If so, how?

Thanks, Bill

You were very close. In 8.1 you go to PC Settings; PC & Devices; Bluetooth. It should scan for and find devices that are in pairing mode. Once it sees your device, pair it and it'll show up where you were looking.
