Acer Aspire s7 Touchpad

My touchpad on my ultrabook seems to be failing. I have had this computer for only a few months and the touchpad is so difficult to click down now it feels like I'm breaking the laptop. It's definitely a hardware problem with how the trackpad is made. Anyone have any experience on a solution to the problem?

Try updating the drivers and then check whether the trackpad is working fine.

If the issue still persists, even after updating the drivers, it's most probably a hardware issue. In that case you may need to contact the manufacturer (If it's still covered under warranty) or contact a local technician or service center.
