Im having problems with my Aspire E1 brand new out of the box. In researching this issue I found articles about instlling 64 gig SSHD sata 6gb something something. Is this something I should consider. Also said I should get more RAM which is a no-brainer but some specs tell me I only have one slot and some say I have 2. Trying to get the most out of thi economical machine but dont mind putting a few bucks in it for optimal performance. Any ideas?

About the memory, there are 4 different motherboards with 1 or 2 dimm slots for this model. You can check with HWINFO64 portable version (no installation) how many slots have you.

About SSD or HDD, I haven't understood your request.
