4k display makes many things tiny, how can we configure them to be bigger?

i've searched in both system display settings and software settings, but i'm not savvy so i could not find out how to make some things bigger.

 

as shown in this photo, on the left hand side what you see is tiny. since the display is 4k its clear but you can only read it if you get very close to screen or use magnifer. i want to just make it bigger. this is just one example of many.

If you are using windows, you should be able to go into the Display settings and change the font size. You should have the options for 100%, 125% and 150%. There is also an option called Set custom text size (DPI) that will allow you to up the font to 200%.
