Hi all.

I have a big issue in my acer aspire switch 10, it is the keyboard writing numbers.

I can write with the keyboard but when i TOUCH with my finger on the screen at the Internet or Firefox homepage so i could write there community.acer.com then the writing section does not show up BUT i have to manually click or touch the touchkeyboard so it will show up for me so i could write anything i want

So my question is how can i fix so if i join Firefox and want to write community.acer.com with my Finger-touch, how will letters and numbers show automatically ?

thank you all.

When the touch keyboard is displayed, at the bottom right corner there is a key that shows a picture of a keyboard. Pressing that key allows you to choose which keyboard you prefer to use. The full keyboard (the one shown with the most keys) has both letters and numbers displayed. With the smaller keyboard shown by default you have to press the '123' key in order to display numbers.

Note that if you are still running Windows 8 it's a little more complex, since the full keyboard isn't offered without changing some preferences. With 8.1 it is offered without any tweaks.

this was not the answer of my question!!!

My question was: when i want to write something on Internet, Firefox, or Skype, why does not the keyboard near the clock, that is showing, why does it not display / show up when i want to write something?

it does on windows tablet, but not in windows 8 ?
