Hi,

Is it possible to upgrade/change RAM of the Acer Aspire ES1-111-C18N? I don't find information about this. If yes, what is max limit?

Also, can I change HDD to a SSD?

Thank you.

Amazon sells a 4GB upgrade and http://techforpennies.com/acer-aspire-es1-111m-c40s-review/ says: " The memory of Acer Aspire ES1-111M-C40S is barely enough. At 2GB, there might be times when you wish you had more. Two gigabytes is fine for simple browsing, text editing and such, but if you want boost in performance having at least the standard 4GB would be good idea. With this Acer, upgrading the memory all the way to 8 gigabytes is possible. However, there are no free memory slots available – you’d have to remove the old 2GB chip first in order to install more." so, it seems doable.

This guide is supposed to be same as ES1-111

Thank you for the answer. I'm glad to learn it.

I ordered it 2 two minutes ago. I'll leave a comment and maybe pictures if it's really possible or not on this model.

For static electricity and swear damages I'll use specific gloves.

You can upgrade memory up to 8mg, but you cannot upgrade HDD.
