Hello, I have an Acer Aspire E1-510 Notebook (Intel Quad Core N3520 @ 2.16GHz, 4GB RAM, 1TB HDD). I am a student and I use my laptop on battery 2-3 times a week when I'm at my university (I am an IT student). I bought my laptop in May 2014. The notebook has a SANYO PABAS0241231 37 mWh battery. Recently the full charge capacity started to drop to 33-35 mWh. I attached the battery report as generated by Windows 8.1. My battery warranty ended (it was 6 months). Is this a Windows related problem or is it a battery related problem? Also, if I keep my laptop plugged in even when the battery is "fully charged" will it affect my battery life (AFAIK new notebooks have smart batteries which do not charge when they are fully charged, basically they report that they are fully charged and my notebook uses the AC/DC source exclusively)? Please excuse any language related mistakes because English is not my mother tongue. Thank you in advance for your help! Smiley Happy

This is the report generated by running: "powercfg -batteryreport" in a non-elevated cmd: Battery Report

    Hi,
Based on the report, I see that there is a drop in capacity & more over I also find battery taking bit longer to fully charge. I would contact Acer for a battery replacement.

Shut down, remove power cord and battery,Hold power button down for 30 seconds, plug in power cord and start, plug in battery and see if there is any difference. If not you may want to order a new battery.

Avira Pro reports that your link contains a virus.

Thanks for your answer, I'll do what you suggested, about the Avira Pro Virus Report, I don't know why it would report a virus as there is none. Anyway I removed the link and added screenshot of the report to avoid any problems. Thanks!

Update: I did what you said, but nothing changed. I'm thinking about trying to re-calibrate from safe mode...
