Unable to boot with Dual Monitor (TC605-4150F)

My customer bought 4 units of TC605-4150F, one of the unit need to be connected to an Samsung TV via HDMI. And a Acer 18.5" LED connected via D-SUB.

Problem is:

When both screen connected, the PC won't POST, no display on both screen. Keyboard CAPS & NUM not functioning.

When only one screen connected, the PC POST and load Windows normally, perfect.

When only one screen connected, and connecting another screen AFTER POST works fine, perfect.

When both screen working, reboot PC is OK, the BIOS can POST.

BIOS has been updated to P11.B1L date 2014/10/27.

Windows boot via legacy, no UEFI.

Nothing helps. I'm sure everything is in working condition, the only thing I didn't try is swap the TV, don't have a spare for that.

Anyone can help?

I'm using TC-605 UR19 with Intel HD 4600 graphics. I'm using the latest graphics driver from the Intel website. On the Intel website, they have a driver utility that helps you update to latest and correct driver. I used the "have disk" method to force the driver update. I'm also using the latest Intel chipset driver (inf).... They have a chipset utility for that too on Intel website that ensures you have the latest chipset inf.

When I tested dual display, I connect one with HDMI and the other with VGA. Everything worked fine under windows 8.1.

I'm not familiar with the specs of your computer.....so keep that in mind when reading my post.

Edit: I've never tested dual display with latest bios. I was using an older UEFI firmware (bios).

probably without a proper setting on BIOS, the system can't "understand" what interface boot first; i suppose you already checked if any settings is available, so the only solution is to connect the second monitor after POST.

Something like choosing the "video init" on some BIOS (PCIex, integrated...)

It might be a long shot, but you could try changing your dvi cable.

Changed HDMI cable, still unable to POST. If I off the Samsung TV power, unplug from the power source; Tried again still unable to POST. If I take the HDMI out from Samsung TV, the PC POST. [What] is going on?

I called Acer support. The fix I was given that I'm happy with is: I need to completely shut down my PC. That is, after clicking Start and then Shutdown, I then need to press and hold the power button for at least 10 seconds. Later, when I power up the PC, it boots correctly with both screens, normally. Thanks Acer support.
