Hi,

I purchased a brand new acer laptop Acer E1 571 : [edited for privacy] from where on the 19th of Dec 2012, I travelled to India post my purchase and it has now crashed and i get this message when i switch it on "No boot device found", i phone your helpline in India 1-800-3000-2237 and they advised that I need to based in either Bangalore and Delhi to avail international warranty.

This is little absurd as I based out of Pune and can not travel to the said locations to avail this warranty, kindly help me out as I found that you have an acer service in Pune.

Regards

Try resetting your BIOS defaults to see if it resolves your issue. To do this, completely shut down your computer by holding the power key until the unit shuts off, then follow the steps below.

    1. Power on the system. As soon as the first logo screen appears, immediately press F2 to enter the BIOS.

    2. Press F9 to reload BIOS defaults.

    3. Press F10 to save and exit BIOS.

If you are still experiencing issues and require service, you would need to contact warranty support in the region where the computer was purchased.
