a1-810 upgrade

ive bought my wife an a1-810, identical to my own a1-810. although it is brand new-never taken out of the box, it is 15 months old.

but my wife's wont upgrade frpom 4.2.2, error status code 400 comes up. both acer and google say its my networks fault, but side by side my own tablet upgrades without this error.

all other things have installed/upgraded.please help?!

Give it a little time. It has to register itself with the Acer update servers and then they have to place it in the queue for the update. It's 15 months old, so I assume you bought it used or as old stock. Is it setup for the same locale as yours, or was it for a different region?

its been set up from scratch, by myself. its sat in a draw completely unused, old stock maybe.

all upgrades /updates for play store/etc have all worked. although the kernel version is different from mine, i assume that changes when you get the upgrade?

 

mine runs 4.4.2, is that kitkat?

Yeah, 4.4.x is KitKat and the kernel version will change with the update.
