Hi folks,

Lost a hard drive in my Acer reconditioned desktop and I cannot locate my recovery set I made 3 years ago when new. I went on the Acer site on the eRecovery page and entered my SNID. I see this available for $19.95:

eRecovery CD

- RCDs are generated for a specific unit.

- RCDs will contain a Recovery DVD, System CD, & Language Disc (Windows 7 and Windows 8 OS)

Note: Recovering your unit, will bring your unit back to the original factory settings, including all original software, applications, drivers, and Operating System.

I believe this will restore Windows 7 OS to what I had previously.

Can someone confirm befoere I order?

Thanks.

Thanks, found a few that I needed. And I was able to use the recovery disks I made for another desktop which is the same exact model. Seems I didnt need to spewnd the $$ on an eRecovery disk set.

Could you indicate me the first ten characters of the serial number?

The first ten characters are the part number of your desktop.

    Hello,

    Your desktop is:

    P/N: PT.SE6P2.003

    Model: Aspire X3950-UR31P

OS: Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bits

You'll receive normally the Windows 7-64 recovery DVDs.

Do you see a part number of this one on the order?

eRecovery CD is a general term. You'll receive several DVDs. I can't find informations with SKU.

I have my drive installed and have used recovery disks to reload OS. I cannot find drivers for my desktop. The AppDrv disk I made when I first installed does not have the correct drivers.

Where can I get at least the network driver? I cannot find a list using my serial # or SNID.

    Please help.

    Thanks

  • Hello,

You'll find all drivers for Aspire X3950 on this Acer support page (Select OS and All).
