The mouse on the touchpad doesn't work.  I've performed a reset and that worked for a couple of days but today it stopped working again.   I've also  tried the F7 button but it doesn't fix the issue.  Any suggestions?      It's off waranty so I can't seem to get any direct help from Acer.

Try this: Open device manager>mice and other pointing devices. For each entry double click and go to the tab marked Driver. Click on Uninstall and accept but DO NOT check any box that says Delete.

Reboot and let Windows "find" the devices and reload the drivers.

See if that works. I've used it before for devices that stopped working.

ps for your issue do this for mice and pointing devices only. I have used with other devices before but limit the uninstall to the device causing issues unless you really think you know what you are doing.

Thank you!  But I'm now a little embarrased.  After I submitted my question last night I read thru a few other posts and found out that  lot of mouse issues can arise from the tablet not being properly seated on the keyboard.  So I disconnected it and re seated the tablet and voila the mouse and touchpad came back to life.

Embarassed but quite pleased that it's working again.  Thanks again!
