Can I upgrade my ao722 memory from 4g to 8g? What brand of memory should I use?

I have an AO722-0825.  I'm looking to increase the speed and performance of this machine, and so I wanted to upgrade the memory (and possibly swap in a SSD).  So my questions are:

1) Is it possible to upgrade the memory on this machine?

2) What brand of memory does Acer / anyone with experience recommend?

3) Does anyone have experience with taking out the hard drive and putting in a solid state drive?  I heard that it's possible but I'd be interested in other people's experience.

I would ask Acer these questions directly but my computer's out of warranty so they won't chat with me.

Thanks!

    Hello,

    P/N: LU.SFT02.299

    Model: Aspire One 722-0825

OS: Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bits

Unfortunatly, you have already the maximum of memory (4Gb - 1333MHz).

You can change it for 4Gb - 1600MHz (Crucial).

You'll also find SSD comptabiles with your netbook.

    Kingston

    Crucial

Thanks!  Will the increased MHz make a big difference?

Yes you can increase the number of RAM to 8 GB Ram ddr3 1600 12800 and yes you can swap the hard drive to a SSD one.

The computer will not jump but you will have a little bit more applications to run and the computer as a whole will be a little bit more reliable.

Note: right now I am writing this reply from my netbook acer aspire one 722 with 8 GB ram and ssd drive.
