How Do You Disable Screen Notifications?

On my windows 8 computer, I get just, TOO MANY skype notifications on-screen, which ruins my gameplay. And that "Ding" everytime someone messages the group. How can I disable the screen notification from sliding onto my screen?

To change notifications settings :

 

Swipe in from the right edge of the screen, then tap Settings.
(If you're using a mouse, point to the bottom-right corner of the screen, move the mouse pointer up, then click Settings.) Tap or click Change PC settings, tap or click Search and apps, then Notifications.

Under Show notifications from these apps, set the app you want to On or Off.
