My S7 391 have battery problem after I upgraded to windows 8.1.  From the windows, I can see that I still have 100% charged.  And after using a while my computer will shut down by itself.  I turned on the computer and find out that my batter meter still have 88%.

I suggest you to perform a reset using the battery pinhole at the bottom of your computer.

Please completely power OFF the computer. Insert a paperclip into the hole and press for four seconds to reset the computer (simulates removing and reinstalling the battery). The battery reset pin hole would have battery symbol near the hole.

Thanks for the suggestion.  Done that yet the problem still remain.  Even when the batter meter shown 100% charged, once unplug the power still the computer shut down.  Any more suggestion?  Does the battery bad and need to replaced?  Or any other problem?

Try to charge your notebook to the full amount of 100%, disable it

then remove battery, press ON for ten seconds.

Put battery back. Run it on with F8 and then select

windows to enter in safe mode. And let it stay with

enabled screen before it totally discharge.

I've done that thing with 2 other laptops, the actions must be the same.

    Thats about battery calibration
