Bought an Acer V3-571-9646 last week and registered upon first use. So why do I receive pop ups several times a day (and every day) telling me something I already know: "Your Acer is already registered."?

    If you have already registered your computer and are still experiencing pop-up reminders to register, you can disable the popup by following the steps below.

    Press and hold the Windows key and tap the R key on your keyboard
    In the Run window that appears type msconfig . Press OK.
    In the System Configuration Utility, click on the Startup tab.
    From the list of items, remove the check next to WarReg_PopUp.
    Close the window. Press the Start button.
    From the Start menu, click Shut Down.
    Select the option to Restart the computer.

    Thank you for your reply. I did as you suggested, but WarReg_PopUp does not appear in the Start Up list. I think you misunderstood my question. The popup is not reminding me to register. Instead the pop up states: "You are already registered." So my question is... why would a pop up repeatedly tell me that I am already registered. And how can I get it to stop telling me that? Smiley Frustrated
