Good afternoon everyone. I need help to fix my Acer Iconia W4 Tablet. This morning I tried to install Epson Printer L210 but failed. Afterwhich, my Acer Iconia W4 tablet will not longer connect to any USB Port. A message shows that "USB devise not recognised". When I search to the Device Manager, there was this Unknown USB devise stating "devise descriptor request failed" and when I tried to troubleshoot it this shows "Device status window has stopped this devise because it has reported problem (code 43).

And now, my tablet cannot connect to any USB Port including my charge so it means, I can no longer charge my tablet. The battery is running slow so I need to fix it before it will drained.

Please help me which this delimma. Thank you very much!!

Hoping for your answers. God bless!

If you shutdown the device completely will it not charge? If not, then it's a hardware problem.

    Hi,

In the Device Manager window, locate the malfunctioned USB device and right click over it, select Uninstall.
After uninstalling Unknown Device in previous step, select Acetion > scan for hardware changes.
In this way, finally the malfunctioned device gets recognized by Windows and you can double click to view its Properties where you found the Device Status that This device is working properly.

If that doesn't work, you may perform a system restore to previous date to fix the issue.

After uninstalling, I generally reboot and let Windows find the right drivers/devices. It often works.
