Window explorer throws the page off screen

I'm having trouble on figuring out when Windows Explorer throws the page off to the right and no matter what I try I can not get the page to show on the screen. This doesn't happen often, when it does the only way I found to get the thing to work right is to use system restore. Is there another method to use bsides this?? Why is it doing this?? I'm not a computer whiz, so any answer must be clear so even an old man like me can figure it out..

Found out what was wrong. Had two cables hooked to monitor, unhooked one and it's now normal.
