First of all, Acer is a good brand that i kind of like, for many of my product i have'nt perceive obsolescence so ok i like u. So my E700 (this wonderful phone, cheap and powerful) don't want to boot anymore... usually this kind of trouble is avoid by taking out the battery and putting it in again. but as you certainly know this phone come with a huge battery that can be dismount... i really dont want to send this phone back to customer service, all my life is in it, include my private research studies. So i think there is sometimes a code that can do the work, it's usually a series of button to press in certain order. Can you send it to me or any advice that can help for this issue. When i plug the phone to my computer, the blue led turn on, but no drive is detected by the computer. Regards ;D

    Try this:

press Power button + Volume DOWN

keep pressing and connect to the AC charger

if this still fails, you need to send it to customer service.

Is that an official response from acer ?! i am deeply disapointed, just as i thought the phone just needed to unplug/plus the battery. So i have bend many part and maybe it will explode throught my pants one day, because (not exclusive) you were'nt able to give a proprer response. Previously my phone were an ACER too, and it was a very common bug... So just to plug/unplug the battery i have to send the phone to (don't know were) and wait don't know how long... Don't do innamovible battery on android ... This is

i'm not an Acer employee, so no problem.

this solution was from my experience and i know that a removable battery is better in some case.

i don't know if E700 has some reset pinhole.

by the way, i would buy one in a short time as a present. Smiley Happy

I have the same phone. Blue LED means you have no battery. Leave your phone charging WITHOUT USING it for a few minutes man. It does not boot because it's not charged!
