Cloudmobile S500 SD card setup

I want to setup default download to the 32GB SD card and be able to move Apps to the card. All current downloads default to the internal memory. Acer came up with the unhelpful idea that I phone the premium number help desk.

Any ideas before I am forced to phone the UK desk @ 50p/min.

Thanks.

Not all apps allow to be moved to the SD card (usually because the SD card is much slower than the internal memory, and the app developer does not want to cause the app to run too slow). Apps that allow to be moved to the SD card, you can do it via Settings > Applications, select the app and then tap 'Move to SD card'. And some apps cannot be moved, but you can select inside the app to have the app store its data on the SD card, but this you have to set app-by-app.

Why is there a slot for an SD Card if you can't use it for apps. Spotify isn't working via SD Card for example.

And if there is only 8GB of internal memory, you can't do much with this phone.

    Is there any solution.....?

Otherwise I'm very dissapointed with this phone and I will return it to the shop....

    Regards,

    Martin

Would anyone know, where can I report this problem?

I tried to use Acer Russian customer service, but they are so reluctant to help there....

Where to can I write reporting all the problems including this one, with SD card ?

Where are the Acer specialists on this forum?

Please note that this a forum for Acer product users, by Acer product users. Calling out for 'Acer developers' will not work.

This issue is a limitation in the Android system and not at all specific to Acer smartphones. Android App developers can choose whether or not they allow to move an application to the SD card. Many developers choose not to do so because of performance issues. Acer cannot control this at all, and it is not Acer who imposes a limit on the possibility to move an app from the phone memory to the SD card.

So, bringing your phone into service will not help, because Acer simply cannot resolve this. If you have specific apps consuming a lot of internal memory, check with the developer of that specific app on how to optimise it.

The micro SD card can always be used to store your photos, videos and music of course.

The problem is not in identifying applications the same problem in the aperture because I do not take advantage of them permanently, because I Uploaded some songs and did not work in the phone only via Wi-fi or USB connection .

The problem is not from the operator of the problem from you, the aperture is not defined on the phone, please download Driver To resolve this issue .

    thank you .
