3G problem with acer liquid E2 DUO and firmware 1.032

Hi at all,
i'm new of this forum and i want to write about a problem with my acer liquid e2 duo. With the last firmware update (1.032) i have continuos problems with 3g connection. Specifically, often happens that the connection "not respond". The connection is avaible (the "H+", "H", or "3G" icon appear), but seems that cannot receive data, and only the upper arrow (^) appear on the antenna icon, as if it would send data but not receive anything, forcing me to turn off and on the data connection to restore connection which, however, works again for a short time!.

For a long time I blamed the operator for this problem, until i send my E2 in RMA (broken power button) and i reused my old ideos X5. With my old phone in all the places where with the Acer E2 i had problems, with the ideos works a treat and I've never had a problem with the connection!

Now my e2 is turned from assistance and the problem still persist. I'm pretty sure that this is a problem with the latest firmware 1.032, but I do not know how to flash it to a previous version. I'm in italy and use 2 sim:

sim1: Wind, used for 3g
sim2: Vodafone.

Hi,

apart my personal bad consideration on Wind data connection stability, the only way to revert to an older build version, is to use non-official tools.

there are many thread around the web about that, even in italian, but this kind of topic can't be discussed here, sorry.

I would agree with you about Wind, except that with another phone works perfectly, and it worked perfectly for 2 weeks, when I returned to use the acer E2!

Does anyone know if there is any update coming or planned?

I still have this problem... I tried to use it in single sim mode, by removing the vodafone sim card, but nothing changed! This problem is getting really annoying Smiley Sad

It 'possible that the acer support is ended after less than 1 year for this smartphone?

Updates: i restored the phone with the full 1.023 update available on acer support site and i tried the phone for 2-3 days. The problem is always present, but in a much lesser extent than before and the phone is at least usable! Then i tried updating to 1.030 and behaves as the 1.023. Finally i upgraded to 1.032 and the 3g network goes bad as before!

I would stay with the 1.030 version but have the Mediatek SMS bug (the phone will restart if it receives an SMS containing a "="). Before reinstall the 1.032 i tried to use alternative SMS Applications (also "hangouts", that is orrible for SMS) but i have not found anything app that manage the dual sim!

It is now clear that Acer will never do anything at all for this phone, so I will be forced to sell it and move on to other brands that work more seriously!
