Connected it via HDMI cable to HDMI port 3 and chose HDMI 3 on screen and all I get on screen is no video signal.I tried rebooting my tablet which didn't  help. What else do I have to do to watch videos ,pictures and movies on TV from my tablet?

Thanks,Shiraz

When you connect HDMI, a notification must appear on your tablet, you don't have to set anything on A3-A10.

Please check cable connection on both sides.

    Thanks for your quick reply.

There is no notification on tablet and connection seem fine.Tried reconnecting a few times.

Now I'm wondering if it is the cable. It is an onn524D,HDMI high speed micro cable with ethernet bought @ walmart for $18.00.

Give it a try with another HDTV.
I will check it @wallmart and try another cable too.

Hi, I tried it with another HDTV and got the same results.

I bought another cable  and still no video signal and no notification.

    What now???

    I do appreciate your help.

Have you checked HDMI settings on system settings/display/Hdmi settings?

as last chance i would try a factory reset, you will loose all your personal data:

    system settings/backup&reset/factory data reset

and try to connect it via HDMI, if still no luck.....contact your seller or regional Acer support service.

Hi,had live chat with acer tec; checked settings, pluged in tablet to puter and then did a factory reset and still no go.Tec thought it might be micro HDMI port problem.I guess I'll have to have it serviced. It is still under warranty.

Thanks again for your help. Will post whenever I get problem solved.

Good, i agree too that probably is an hardware failure on micro HDMI.
