Can the CPU in Revo RL80 be upgraded?

I was wondering whether or not I can upgrade the CPU from i3 to i5 or i7? Of course I have in mind the same BGA-1023 socket and similar TDP. Any advise will be greatly appreciated.

    Hello hannibal,

Unfortunatly, the cpu is soldered on the motherboard (from Intel Celeron 1007U to Intel I3-3227U).

    Hello laurent_14,

Thanks for your help. My borhter in law asked me is there a way of upgreading his computer becaouse he needs to run simple 2D AUTOCAD 13 models on it. I have anticipated that the CPU is probably soldered, therefore, hard to change. I assume that the for that Revo RL80 the only GPU avaliable is the one integrated with the CPU? He already has 8 GB of RAM, so it seems that there is nothing he can do to upgrade his hardware.

    Hello,

Yes, that's an Intel Graphics HD. Autocad 13 on this one, it must be low. Has he tried DraftSight free and lighter or Solidedge 2D. I work since many years with CAD softwares 2D/3D but on an old HP workstation.
