I was wondering if anyone can help. My Acer aspire E1-571 can't connect to the Internet or it does but the connection is limited. It's starting to get ridiculous.
It came with windows 8 and got updated to windows 8.1.
I've tried altering the settings and that does not change anything at all.
I've turned flight mode on and off doesn't do anything.
I've tried switching off atheros and updating it but neither work because I don't have atheros on my system...at all. And I haven't got an atheros router and I don't see it in device manager.
I've tried doing a PC refresh but my computer won't even let me start the refresh.
I can't troubleshoot the problem because do this you have to Internet to even start the troubleshoot (the logic of modern computers; you need the Internet to find out why your Internet won't work) and the offline troubleshoot can identify there is a problem but can't identify what problem or how to fix it.
And if you're going to recommend me updating or installing my drivers. You need the Internet to that. And I don't have the Internet so I can't do anything about installing drivers.
But then how did I write this up on here? I'm the vastly more superior and obviously better mac to do all my stuff. So I might just go an return that crappy laptop and just do everything on my mac from now on. Good luck trying to help, i guarantee you won't be able to do this one.
