I bought an Acer Aspire V5-573 with Win8 64-bit a month ago and having problems with the integrated microphone. When I close my computer it falls sleep, and when I recover the computer the mics doesn't work. So, I need to restart the computer and the mics works. But if I restart the computer from hibernation the mics doesn't work. I tried everything. I updated the drivers of the realtek, I updated to Win 8.1, I've check all the properties, but the problem is still there. I very annoying to need to re-start the computer and close everything every time I need to use the mics. Does any have the same problem? how to solve it?

    berhonga,

I can see how having to restart the computer can be frustrating just to get your mic to work. Did this issue start from day one? If not, then a software change or upate could have caused this issue. Also, you may want to try restoring the computer back to factory defaults and test your mic before any updates/software changes to see if the problem persists.

Last resort would be contacting technical support in your region to see if they can help and if needed setup a repair.

Same problem here Smiley Sad  Internal mic randomly stops working. Runs smooth after restart.

I'm having the same problem using a Acer Aspire V3-571-9423 with the original factory installation.
Even a external handset doesn't work.
I thought Acer would have a best post-sale attendance.
