Hello all,

I have a lil problem, i have a TravelMate 4002WLMI and i would like to uodate BIOS. I downloaded the onde from de Support website but when i am updating it says:

"BIOS Update failed! New BIOS is not compatible with the current system BIOS. New BIOS part number doesn't match system BIOS part number.

Error code: -120"

I went to the support and i filled in the Serial Number and that was the BIOS that were avaliable for download.

where can i get the lastest BIOS update for this laptop?

Thank you in advance.

    Hello,

The TavelMate 4002WLMI is a TravelMate 4000 series.

    - Windows XP Pro - 32 bits

    - Intel VGA chipset

All bios, 1 for Intel and 1 for ATI:

    BIOSAcerBIOS3A224.2 MB2008/12/08Transferir
    BIOSAcerBIOS3A104.2 MB2008/12/08Transferir

It's the correct version for your notebook (3A10 (Intel) for Intel VGA Chipset). So I give you an other link for this official version (old acer site for Europe):

    Intel bios v3a10 for uma.zip

Try the Dos version. This one solve only this:
