Need workaround to raise sound volume. Up arrow key missing.

Hi -- How can I increase volume without the UP arrow key?  Normally do Fn-Up. Volume is only issue (can page up then down to scroll). Control panel options look like they increase volume, but they don't. Windows troubleshooting deals only with the sound card, which is fine.  Ideas welcome (old laptop, so I don't want to replace the key).  TIA. Aspire 3820T, Windows 7

Can you not adjust it by clicking the sound icon in the system tray by the clock?

I do not know of another keyboard shortcut that will adjust volume. Not an ideal solution, but you can always connect an external keyboard.

That icon never showed!  I've found it now and set it to show at all times. Appreciate your suggestion.  An external keyboard, also suggested, didn't work.  I tried to buy a key kit for the up arrow, but it's not available.  In any case, thanks to Acer-Blayn,

I now have the sound icon showing, and can control it with the mouse.  Hooray!!!
