So I'm thinking about buying the new model of the Acer V5, the V5-573G-54218G1Takk, and would like to know if it has a free mSATA-port like the model from last year?

Actually managed to find someone else on the forums who has the same model and confirmed it before my purchase. And now I can confirm myself that the new Aspire V5-573G models with i5-4210U/i7-4510U and Nvidia GTX850M does indeed have a mSATA-slot. My model did not have a mSATA SSD pre-installed, and the port still works.

We can only guarantee an active mSATA port if the system shipped with a HDD and SSD combination.

I appreciate your response and thank you for confirming this as I am sure others have or may have the same concern.
