If you are not seeing a second battery while docked and charging, then the internal battery of the dock is not working or your dock did not come with one installed. However, to my knowledge it should have a built-in battery. I would recommend contacting our technical support in your regions as it looks like there is a hardware issue with the keyboard dock and its built-in battery.

Another option would be to see how much battery life you get with the tablet docked and no AC power. If you get more battery life with the dock vs no dock then the battery is working properly just not displaying the charge in the Windows UI. The estimated battery life with the dock battery should be more than 9 hours and a maximum of 18hrs.

first thank you for your reply
the battery life is about 9 hours or less , so i guess no battery in the dock !

but when i charge the dock the led light become red as well as the light of the tablet ( normal ) , that light in the dock does mean that there is a battery built on ?

If you recently purchased this product, I would recommend contacting technical support in your region. I honestly believe it should have a built in battery and if you are not getting more battery life then that, it means you are only running on a single battery when docked.
