So, what is the maximum supported ram of the Acer Aspire One 532h-2ds?

According to google results it's 2GB, which i have just installed a 2GB stick but the BIOS still reports as 1GB..

Any ideas?

This model has one DIMM socket and support memory size per socket is 2 GB.
The maximum memory size supported by this model is 2 GB and supports DIMM type of  DDR II 533Mhz SDRAM memory modules.

So any suggestions as to why my 2GB stick i've inserted is being recognised as 1GB in the BIOS?

Was your computer shipped with windows XP or Windows 7?

Not to worry, i ended up fixing it by flashing the BIOS back to original with the 2GB installed and then flashing back to the latest BIOS with the 2GB still installed and it's been recognising the 2GB since
