"Auto Repair" Interminable LOOP
My system is an ACER all-in-one Model AZS 600G-UW10. It is loaded with an updated WIN8.1. I have owned and operated this computer for about 3 months and it has performed flawlessly. I have attached, via USB, one 2TB Seagate and two 1TB Seagate hard drives, a Netgear router and a Brother laser printer.
A few nights ago I powered down without any problem. The next morning it entered "preparing auto repair". It continues to "diagnosing your PC" and then to "attempting repairs". After a few seconds it restarts this process and continues until I turn off the computer.
I have tried several of the recommendations from several websites without any success. This includes the F8; alt key and F8; F10; F12. None of these solutions have worked for me. I even tried them after disconnecting all the addons from thr usb ports.
The only operation I can get to work is: just as the POST begins I can alternate between F8 and DEL and the system will enter the BIOS. I can change and save anything in the BIOS. I have not been able to enter "safe mode".
Any help would be appreciated.
