Aspire Revo R3700 memory doesn't run in dual-channel mode

Hi,

I own a Revo R3700 for few years now with 2GB of memory. The PC came with Hynix 1x2GB DDR3 10600 memory module.

I recently bought a second identical 2GB module of the same brand (Hynix) and part-number.

After installing it the BIOS and Windows detects 4GB without any problem and everything seems to work fine, but CPU-Z tells me the following:

1) It runs in single-channel and not dual-channel mode.

2) Frequency is 399MHz and not 800MHz.

3) SPD 1/2 bandwidth is 667MHz and not 1333MHz.

Do I need a BIOS update or configure something?

Sorry if I'm mixing things up.

Thanks in advance

I've attached screen shots below.

Original Acer stock module is on the left. New one on the right.

The Aspire AR3700 does not support dual channel. This system only supports single channel.
