Acer Aspire V5 every 3 days needs a factory restore

So about a month ago my laptop shut it self down to do a update thanks to windows. I left it to do its thing then i noticed it said failed to update restoreing you settings but then it would turn off and try and update again and fail and get stuck in a loop.

I did a factory restore and all worked fine for the first 3 days then it asked for a update again, just like last time it got stuck in a loop and i have to do a factory restore.

Each time the problum always comes back after that update and ive now got 2 days left untill the next update does anyone no what i can do to fix this.

I also run windows 8.1 or 8 one of them.

Our techs are reporting that when Windows is doing a lot of updates at once these seems to happen. Here's an article that links to Microsoft's KB regarding the issue. http://acer.custhelp.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/33145

 

The best results we've seen are letting it go, it can take a couple hours to work itself out. Doing a small number of updates at a time. Or reviewing the MS KB article for other steps on how to fix it.
