Hi
Wondered if anyone could help. I can't get my HTC one (m8) to connect via bluetooth to my iconia w700p. The two have paired and initially they connect but then disconnect after just a couple of seconds. The w700p's bluetooth keydoard works fine and I can connect my phone to my car via bt so I believe bt works on both machines, there just seems to be some sort of comparability issue I guess.?.any advice would be gratefully received. thanks in advance.

I guess my question what are you going to be trying to do with them once they're connected? In the cases you list there's a main machine with a peripheral connected via bluetooth. The phone is the main system and the car is the peripheral, the W700 is the main system, the keyboard the peripheral. When you try to connect the phone and the computer, which is the main system and which the peripheral.

My initial attempt was to transfer files from the laptop to the phone, the laptop would be the main system and the phone would be the peripheral, just as if I connected them via ish.

You might want to look at Acer Remote Files, part of the free Acer Cloud package. It'll do that all over WiFi...

Thanks for the advice, I will certainly check it out. Still a litle intrigued as to why bluetooth won't work though. Thanks again, much appreciated
