3 Acer laptop BRICKS

Since the following problems completely DESTROYED all bootable information on all 3 of them.

1) restoring from Facoty Default dvds [ Acer Aspire 4530 ] FAILED, device not bootable at all. [ win vista home ]

2) no recovery media to try to work with Acer Aspire 9300-5024, no erecovery. [ Win xp Media Centre ]

3) completely broken, blue screen constant win 7 on a Gateway NV53, no recovoery media, erecovery made device non bootable.

[ need bios update to try to get a retail win7 install to work ]

 

cannot update bios on all 3, because Acer does not release updates that do NOT require a working Windows install.

 

what to do with these 3 bricks?

[ well, ok, they do boot, with an all new partition structure, and PCLinuxOS 2014 64bit installed, and all hardware works out of the box., but cannot update bios unless acer releases an update that does not require windows ]

an update, the first problem, the facotry disks gets to POP0100J03E14C61.070 and fails, then restarts. [ 5th time it has restarted this attempt. ]
