Hello,

I have problems with my new laptop - v5-573g. After installing intel chipset drivers 9.4.0.1026 i have constant BSOD after windows 8.1 loging screen.

Are those drivers obligatory? Should i find some other drivers?

Thanks in advance for any help.

I am sorry to hear you got a BSOD after installing our drivers. It sounds like a bad driver install and does not mean it was the driver itself. The drivers on our page are not obligatory and only recommend installing newer drivers if there is a problem with the current driver. If the computer was working fine, then the newer driver is not necessary. I would recommend rolling the driver back to the previous version. If you still have a BSOD after rolling back to the previous driver, then restore the computer to factory defaults.
