I have an acer aspire E1-571 I have contacted acer about an issue I was having with my PC and they said I needed to purchase the recovery CD. I did so and when I got the disc I started the recovery process. As I loaded the third disc it loaded to 63% and stopped there. The files stopped copying and storing. I let it sit for two hours and checked again and it was still there. So I shut down my PC and started over. The second time, the files were loading but slowly. As I loaded the third disc as prompted, it stopped copying and storing files at 70%. Is there any reason this is happening? How can I get the recovery to finish so I can go back to using my PC again?

If windows fail to install with recovery disks, probably there is an hardware failure.

maybe a bad ram or bad sector on hard disk.

which kind of issue did you have when you contact Acer support?

    I'm not an Acer employee.

Two months ago I updated to windows 8.1 I bought the PC with windows 8 already installed. The update failed and it crashed my computer. I would have the blue screen come up then my computer would shut off and reboot. I couldn't load to windows or do anything with my computer. Acer told me I needed the system recovery discs and I purchased them, now it won't complete the process. I called back and they are telling me to send my PC in and I'm hesitate to do so.

Also I left the PC on last night to see if anything will change with the recovery process and it did. It went from 70% to 91% it's almost finished but it's just kind of hanging at 91% now.
